POWERS: Rogue is cursed with the ability to absorb the memories, abilities and personalities of those she makes flesh-to-flesh contact with, and it is an ability she cannot cantrol. She also possesses flight, strength, and a sixth sense, which she obtained after absorbing the abilities of the avenger Ms Marvel.

Rogue discovered her powers when she was a young teenager, and ran way from home. She ran into Mystique, who raised her, and made her a member of The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Rogue continued to function as a villan, until she approached Professor Xavier, asking him for help in controlling her powers. She joined the X-Men, and has remained a member almost ever since. She has also shared a strong attraction with Gambit, and the two were in love until it was revealed that he was partly responsible for the Mutant Massacre. Now, they are both members of the X-Men again, and tensions remain between the two. Rogue has also taken to wearing her old costume from her evil mutant days, having once said that it reminds her of 'darker days'.
