POWERS: Marrow has the ability to employ detachable bony outgrowths from her body as weapons, and has also begun to explore her powers in an incident where she extended her fingers into claws.

Marrow is one of the surviving mutants, and was present during the mutant massacre, thought she was only a young girl. During the sweep through the tunnels by the Marauders, she was saved by Gambit out of an act of remorse. She was then transported to the other dimension with her surviving people, and while she was only gone for a short time for the X-Men, time passed differently in Mikhail's world, and she grew to her mid-teens, before returning to Manhatten as leader of the terrorist group Gene Nation, to exact revenge for the mutant massacre. After a battle with Storm, which resulted in the loss of her heart, she was later drawn into working on the side of good after an encounter with Spiderman during Operation: Zero Tolerance. Today, Sarah is still an active member of the team, and still agrivates her teammates as much as possible.
