Havok was leader of the new X-Factor. However, on the verge of the team's formation, one of their number attempted to make a time-jump. Something went wrong, and Alex was pushed sideways into this strange new dimension, and into the body of his counterpart, who died at that exact moment. He is now the co-leader of The Six, and has taken the place of his doppleganger.
