REAL NAME: Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin

Piotr, or "Peter", was one of the second generation X-Men recruited by Professor X to rescue the original team from Krakoa. He served long term, and even developed a relationship with Shadowcat. However, after the deaths of his parents and sister, and the apparent death of his brother, Rasputin became disillusioned with xavier's dream, and when Magneto offered him a place amongst the Acolytes, he accepted. When Avalon was destroyed by Holocaust, Piotr returned to earth, and after a period of recuperation, joined Excalibur, so he could be with his friends Nightcrawler and Shadowcat. When the team disbanded, he wnet back to the X-Men with Kurt and Kitty. Recently, Piotr was visited by the ghost of his sister, Illyanna, though he could not prove it occurred.
